I’ve been asked by one of my friends if I want to start going to pole dancing with her. Part of me is tempted – I like to exercise, and pole dancing is supposed to really tone and strengthen. But on the other hand, it’s in front of GINORMOUS mirrors, and I have enough trouble with diddy mirrors and I have massive issues with being watched while exercising. But then again, it might be good to get out of my comfort zone and try it out.
What do you guys think?
I have my balance class that I love, but I’m not walking onto campus every day now so this is tempting just as an excuse to get out of the house. Argh.
I’ve done it and boy it hurts!
Prepare for bruisers around the backs of your knees, and burns on the inside of your thighs. It is fun though!!! Enjoy
One of my friends does it, and so does my sister, and they both really enjoy it. Apparently it’s great for your abs. And I think the mirrors are more for watching yourself to see how you are doing than for other people to watch you…unless watching yourself bothers you, in which case, face away? Good luck if you do try it out!
I think you should try it – it would be great for your confidence! I blogged about pole dancing yesterday.

I did check out your blog! I’m going to be giving it a go, as soon as I can get over this sodding cold
Great! I’ll be interested to see how it goes. Thanks for checking out my blog.
