What is your favourite hour of the day?
Weeeeell… I just asked Hairy about this, and he said that it depends on the day. Apparently on a Sunday it’s between half nine and half ten when he can refuse to get out of bed, is getting lots of cuddles because we’re both snuggly when half asleep and can just lie there and enjoy himself before I make him get up.
I think that answer pretty much beats any that I could give.
I have a lot of favourite twenty minutes slots I guess, more than I have favourite hours. I like the twenty minute walk home after Guides when Hairy wants to know everything that went on that evening and has brought me a cuppa to drink on the way. I like the twenty minutes of cooking dinner and chatting with Hairy that we have most evenings.
I suppose, like most things, it depends. If I have to be at work that day, then my favourite hour tends to be in the evening between 9 and 10pm when Hairy and I are winding down, having our last cups of tea and sitting in front of the fire. If I’ve got the day off, I quite like between half nine and half ten in the morning. It’s early enough for the day to still have promise, I can just about get away with having spent the morning reading stuff online and bumming around because I still have time left to do busy stuff.
Hairy’s burbling in the corner now – something about a hairy faces and harassing me while I’m trying to do this blog post. I thought I’d add this in so you know the sort of thing I have to contend with!
And indeed I have a slight surprise. Remember before, I had hair that was this colour?
Actually, slight detour! Hairy looking dapper and failing at trying to tie a Windsor knot. Just before the circus this was.
Who does the pipe better?!
I think it’s clearly me, although Hairy totally stole my dressing gown in this picture.
Anniversary themed love.
I told you about late night lake walks. Also, note the vague hair colour.
I had an interview this morning, hence the shirt. I look so much like a school teacher when I go formal for interviews!
I got Hairy to help me dye my hair last night. We both look like we’ve been killing people in our spare time.
Playing with the timer on my camera yielded some fun results. These were two of the best as most of the others were blurry!
I like spinny skirts!
Yeah… Cousin It has come to stay! My hair is kind of an amalgamation of all of these colours, but you can’t really tell from the photos since the flash kind of leached it of its colour but no flash meant it looks basically black.
