Describe an outfit that makes you feel good. (It can be from any period of your life.) Double points if you post a picture of yourself in the outfit.
Yo dudes and dudettes. I’m going for double points today! I actually have a lot of outfits that make me feel good, but my favourites are definitely the flowy skirted affairs.
I am infinitely sad. After my last laptop died, I lost an absolute tonne of photos including my favourite one of my favourite dresses. It’s an amazing dress that I like to wear with my trusty (but breaking) DMs and fishnets. Because if you’re going to do it, you may as well do it right.
Excuse the face. I have a terrible tendency to pull stupid faces when people take photos of me. This is the dress. It’s beautiful, has fancy sleeves that fall into EVERYTHING and make it impossible to cook but it’s amazing. I always feel good when I wear this dress! It’s definitely a going out kind of dress, and not an everyday wearing item of clothing. Hairy bought it for me about two and a half years ago and it’s still as loved now.
Who can beat a good pair of dungarees? These are possibly one of the best things that I’ve ever bought and I love them so much that I keep patching them up. I know, patches on my patchwork dungarees. I’m so original! I like how easy it is to figure out what to wear on a dungaree day and they’re comfortable. The single issue with them is that you have to be aware of when you need to pee otherwise you’re stuck fighting your own clothes in a bid not to wet yourself. Not glamorous at all my dears.
I’ve only ever worn this particular outfit once for a hen party, but oh dear potatoes do I want a purple velvet jacket! It was one of my friend’s and we swapped jackets half way through the night. She may have ended up in my cloak actually… But yes, outfit. Green velvet dress is also one of my favourite dresses that I wear on a regular basis because it’s amazingly pretty and if I owned a jacket like that I would genuinely wear it all the time.
Those jeans. I miss them a lot! My first venture into high waisted colour jeans and I was totally in love with them until they broke. The jumper was one that my sister convinced me to buy and I actually like it a lot more than I expected to (IT’S PINK!) and I think the whole thing looks pretty good if nothing like me at all.
